Feedback turns a mechanism of surveillance back onto itself via an extreme method of video compression. Trapped within a cycle of cause and effect and crippled by the compression, the initial function of the device to watch is rendered useless, instead turning the visuals into a hypnotic rhythm of pulsating pixels that generate fluidly as the computer attempts to make sense of what it sees. Rather than passively watching, the system becomes reactionary, each new iteration dependent on the previous one for the loop to continue.
